Everyday Life from on Top a Double-Decker

[X.] W_______'s Cambridge scarf... I'm next to some geniuses...
Sights of Newcastle Upon Tyne from the bus
A magpie, I think, which flew into the bus station

The sidewalks are so close to the street... You feel like you're going to get killed.
Almost every house has a hedge, which is an autonomous eco-system of its own after a few decades.

 The E & R Postbox beside a hedge.

Once a public house turned into a beautiful Italian restaurant (horses crossing the road).
Lots of narrow bends like this with arching trees and stone walls.

Most of the houses have a peculiar red-clay roofing tile.

 Crossing the Tyne river...

City population is something like 289,835 with the wider urban area ("Tyneside") being at about 879,996.

 "Fish and Chips!!!"
Proof! Buses are called stagecoaches here.

 They have everything here!
Not going to see a sign like that in the States...

 Back on the University campus...

 Gargoyles...
